What is the SRE?
The Senate of the Roman Empire is a fictional committee made to represent the governing body of the ancient Roman Empire, comprised of influential senators who debated and voted on important issues related to policy, legislation, and military matters, essentially acting as the legislative branch of the Roman government, with the power to advise the Emperor on key decisions
Position Papers
All delegates debating in SRE must research and write a position paper about their assigned topic.All position papers should include a list of sources written in MLA or APA format. Please refer to the position paper writing guide in the "Delegate Resources" section of the website for further information.
The due date is March 4th, 2025
