BISHMUN is an annual student-run Model United Nations Conference hosted by the British International School of Houston. Since its inception in 2022, hundreds of students in the Greater Houston Area have joined us in addressing some of the most complex world issues of our time as simulated policymakers and delegates of the United Nations.
BISHMUN aims to educate young people about the United Nations, its role in today's international relations, and how these institutions can be used to resolve conflict and channel change. We strive to create positive educational experiences focused on collaboration and hands-on learning. But we are far from alone: BISHMUN is one of hundreds of MUN Conferences across the world. The global popularity of MUN as an enrichment is a testament to its international nature. We hope, through MUN, you too will become a passionate global citizen of the 21st century, an essential undertaking for the leaders of tomorrow's world.

BISHMUN 2024 will be hosted in our 280,000 sq-ft building on the campus of the British International School of Houston.
All external schools will be entitled to one student-representative who will guide your group on campus during the conference and ensure all your delegates know where to go and when to go there. As part of our mission to develop global citizens, our building epitomizes the perfect forum for interaction between young people and cultures all over the world.
